Western Australia has 2 species of crocodile,both of which are restricted
to the kimberley region in the north of the state.
These huge reptiles should be avoided in the wild and treated with utmost
respect. Swimming, drinking or fishing from waterways that harbor crocodiles
could prove to be a deadly mistake! Warning signs have been erected in some
areas and these signs should never be ignored or taken as souvenirs.
